HAIKS Voice Companion

This Privacy Policy outlines the rules for processing and protecting the data of users of the mobile application for Android and Wear OS 4+ named HAIKS Voice Companion.

1. Definitions

  • Service Provider - ERSoft Robert Miłkowski, registered in CEIDG, NIP: 5291553828, REGON: 015701567, located at: Al. Jerozolimskie 85 unit 21, 02-001 Warsaw, Poland.
  • User - any entity using the Application.
  • Application - HAIKS Voice Companion software installed on the User's smartphone and smartwatch.
  • API Key (BYOK) - a private access key to Google AI Studio services.
  • BYOK Model - an architecture where we do not use our own servers for system queries.
  • Moderation Server - our infrastructure for processing reports of harmful AI-generated content.

2. Administrator

3. Privacy Principles

The Application operates on a BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) model, connecting to AI models exclusively using a private API Key provided by the User. Your private API Key is stored only locally in a secure and encrypted device memory and is never transmitted to the Service Provider's servers.

4. No Profiling

The Application does not profile users. We do not collect data about your behavior, interests, nor do we make automated decisions based on your personal data.

5. Third Parties

As part of the Application's operation, data (voice/text queries) is sent to the AI service provider: Google LLC / Google Ireland Limited. Using Google services is based on an individual agreement between the user and Google.

6. Age Restrictions

The Application is a professional tool intended exclusively for individuals who are 18 years of age or older. We do not allow minors to use the Application.

7. Processed Data

  • Audio and Voice: The microphone captures speech solely for Speech-to-Text conversion. Audio files are not stored.
  • Geolocation (PRO Version): GPS data is sent to the AI model only with the User's prior consent.
  • Context Memory: The last AI response is encrypted in the phone's memory to maintain the dialogue.

8. AI Safety

Two-tier protection system:
  • Prevention: Queries pass through Google AI SDK filters. Harmful content is blocked natively.
  • Reaction: The User can report a response flagged (🚩) as harmful.

9. Regional Compliance

The Application features built-in system blocks verifying compliance with regional regulations.

10. User Rights

All local data is controlled by the User and can be deleted by uninstalling. For moderation reports, the User has the right to request deletion at support@haiks.tech.
